| [Comments] I am teaching and living in Korea.
I now live in an apartment on the 15th floor of one of the largest and tallest apartment blocks in NonSan.
We went for a drive to the mountain and looked across to Nonsan from the lookout that is on top of the mountain.
The mountain is planted with beautiful pines and the walk up is very beautiful along a path. On the side you look down into the forest of trees. There are benches placed along the path for relaxing or simpke contemplation of the beauty ahead.
I was taken to the market in Nonsan. This was a huge plethora of mainly fish stalls and vegetable stalls, their goods tastefully and neatly displayed and tended. There were stalls cooking vegatble dishes in oil and you could have crab rolls, dumplings, and vegetables in batter.
Outside the market there were small shops selling different items such as plastic goods, bags, beauty products, and underwear. There were also many small korean restaurants.
In this area traffic was very heavy and in the small streets it looks very confusing as cars wind around each other seeking entry or exits or simply parking.
Nonsan is the 6th biggest city in Korea, and is fortunate to be surrounded by rice fields and market gardens and a ring of mountains. It is thus more rural and very beautiful.I teach at a school called Harvard which is on Chwiarm dong in Chung Nam.
