| [Comments] "Irreverent World" is a tongue-in-the cheek look at Reality.
Existentialism is a Philosophical Theory thatemphasizes the existence of an individual as a free and responsible agent, determining his or her own development through the development of the will.
In other words, we make our own choices and we choose our own behaviour.
Because of this, we make many mistakes, and this is what the existentialist captures, as it is what life and reality is, not the innane empty words that proclaim a false situation.
So the existentialist sees life as it is, and accepts life as it is, because it really cannot be changed.
'Irreverent World' is an existentialist view of the world because it shows this truth.
We laugh at life, but if we didn't laugh, often we would cry, as "life is a comedy for the thinking man, and a tragedy for the feeling man."
I will sum up with one of my favourite quotes...
"You see life as it is and ask 'why?'.
I see life as it should be and ask. "why not?' "
We ultimately choose our lives, and are responsible for what we are and can be....
