| [Comments] Bahrain is an archipelago of 33 islands, of which only three are inhabited, situated between the peninsula and the Saudi Arabian Mainland, and connected by a road causeway built in 1986. Being an island it is sand and water and beautiful buildings.
It is a very beautiful country..white sands and blue skies and beautiful architecture.
Bahrain's liberal lifestyle is there in sumptuous hotels and shopping centres, which are not busy like the western shops and centres.
There is room for more tourism, and I found the people very friendly and welcoming. Hotels are developing and welcoming tourists. All the facilities are there..Internet cafes, restaurants, nightclubs and Golf.
The restaurants were fabulous. The markets were wonderful, and the scenery breathtaking...flat but serene and enchanting.
The Modern Art gallery was a huge modern building with different areas. I found the Graves and the Antique writings fascinating as well as the huge range of Art. It was a wonderful experience.
Everything is huge...the Grand Mosque can accommodate 7000 people.
For those seeking a different holiday I would recommend Beautiful Bahrain...it certainly has a lot to offer and everywhere I looked, there was beauty.
The weather was hot, but not uncomfortable, and it is the most liberal of the Gulf States.I enjoyed my stay in Bahrain very much and would love to return.
